It all started with a birthday present for my granddaughter to give her mother. She wanted to go out and buy a gift but finances were tight and there was no extra money to spend on presents, so I suggested we make her something special by hand. We searched through all her craft kits and that’s when we came across one for jewelry making. We decided a bracelet would be perfect, so while Zoie picked out the beads, I went to the attic to find my old macramé patterns. When her mother received the gift, she thought it had been purchased from a store and that’s when my granddaughter told her, “nanna made it!” My daughter couldn’t believe it. My children never knew I had a creative side because I did this when they were very young and as they grew older, the crafts and creativity were put away in the attic and have pretty much remained there for over twenty years. Funny thing…I didn’t realize how much I missed being creative until I was making the bracelet…then it all came back.

Well that’s where it all started and since that one special birthday gift, numerous people have contacted me wanting to purchase my unique bracelets. It’s like a dream…never in a million years did I think people would love my creations as much as I do. They’re like my children…I create a design, braid each by hand and then name it. My mission has been “one design for one bracelet for one person”...each with it's own personality and I would love to share them with you..
